Project 3

A carefully curated selection of wardrobe staples that speaks to true African luxury which is grounded in contemporary and relevant fabrication and silhouette.

A focus on garment development and construction is evident in the re-engineering of previous styles, the results being a reflection of Luke’s direct environment and influences in Johannesburg, South Africa.

This season, a focus on local hand craft as the truest expression of African luxury is seen in collaborations of cross-cultural context, producing pieces that push the dialogue of what luxury is today.

Hand weaving, traditional beading, and culturally influenced prints are used to communicate this idea.
